Listen Up Elora - October 16
Listen Up Elora is a folk music concert series dedicated to creating a space for artists to perform for audiences who truly listen.
Listen Up was founded by Red River Métis folk musician Rick St. Clair. In the fall of 2024, Rick saw an opportunity to create a dedicated listening-room-style concert series for emerging artists. Drawing on his experience in the music community more than a decade earlier, he launched the series in Centre Wellington, Ontario.

New Single - That Saturday Feel
The second single from our upcoming EP, That Saturday Feel is out now. Penned and sung by former Cast Away Michael McTavish, the studio version of the tune celebrates Michael’s time with the band even as he’s now moved on to focus on his family.

'January Blue' Now Streaming - On Bandcamp
Wilson recently recorded a demo of a brand new track ‘January Blue’ and it’s available now exclusively on bandcamp!! A tune about feeling blue as the new year rings, we hope you enjry this early look at the song before the band builds out the arrangement.

We were so lucky to get to open for Elle Cordova & her band in 2022. These folks have been a huge influence on us and meeting them and sharing the stage did not disappoint and was an experience we’ll never forget.

Bio
Two time Mississauga Music Award nominated indie folk outfit Wilson & The Cast Aways, meld the influences of troubadours past with their own unique style to bring a fresh take on a long standing folk music tradition. The group take it in turns singing lead and harmony, passing instruments back and forth building thoughtfully layered arrangements, all in an effort to share their story-songs in a way that makes a connection with their audience. Whether in their original tunes or their unique arrangements of well loved songs, the band strives to share stories that ring true, even when they're completely made up.
With the advent of the pandemic forcing the band to spend their time apart from each-other instead of on stages across the GTA, Wilson & The Cast Aways turned their creative efforts to self-producing a video series called ‘Tunes From Our Rooms’ throughout the lockdowns. A selection of favourites from the project are available to stream everywhere as the EP 'Tunes From Our Rooms, Vol. I'
The Cast Aways are busy working on their debut EP due out Fall 2026, with the first single Twenty-Nine out now. While not in studio the group are busy sharing their songs on stages across Ontario and beyond.
